Amazing ZAR 13: Two Cabins, 50+ Knots, and Stern Tender Garage

The Rigid Inflatable Boat ZAR 13 has a spacious white cockpit with three driver seats, twin Mercury V12 600 outboards, two large displays, joystick control, and a well-equipped helm.

Below deck are two cabins, with the owner’s cabin positioned forward and a second sleeping area that can accommodate children or another couple.

Further aft, the galley includes an induction hob, sink, large refrigerator, and additional storage, with space available for an optional ice maker.

The cockpit of this ZAR 13 opens into a large lounging area with convertible sunbeds, while the twin 600 hp engines provide a top speed of more than 50 knots.

One of the more practical features is the large garage built into the stern, designed to carry a tender while keeping the main deck clear.

Wide side decks provide easy access to the bow, where a generous seating and lounging area offers enough space for several people.

An optional bimini can provide shade forward, while the overall layout keeps movement around the boat practical and straightforward.

Promo Drone Video of the ZAR Imagine 115

The Zar Imagine Seen From Above

This is a promo video not sharing many details. Though the footage is great, a it more deck and below deck video would have been an added value.

Its stepped hull appears to contribute to rapid acceleration, efficient cruising and confident handling at speed.

According to the published figures, the boat surpassed 20 knots quickly and cruised at 30 knots while consuming 138 litres of fuel per hour. It also remained stable during demanding high-speed manoeuvres.

Below deck, the layout is designed with extended cruising in mind. Two cabins, a separate shower compartment, generous seating and a spacious hardtop combine comfort with the offshore performance expected from a modern luxury RIB.

The Italian Built ZAR RIB

The ZAR Imagine 115 Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) appears to be designed for owners seeking both offshore performance and onboard comfort.

To me, it’s not a maxi RIB sa mentioned by the presenter. It’s a big RIB.

Powered by twin Mercury Verado V10 outboards of 425 hp each, the RIB reached a recorded top speed of 48.6 knots during testing.

The stepped hull seems to play a key role in its behaviour.

The boat exceeded 20 knots fast, reached 30 knots at a reported fuel consumption of 138 l/h, and remained composed through high-speed turns.

Below deck, the 11.5-metre RIB offers what looks like practical cruising accommodation.

Two cabins, a separate shower, generous seating and a large hardtop suggest it could also suit longer trips without compromising performance.

This model has its place between the 95 and the 130, probably to fill the void and the demand.
