The mighty new M-Class from Ultimate Boats is grabbing everyone’s attention at this year’s prestigious Southampton International Boat Show. The new design is a true neck breaker!
The Club del Gommone, in partnership with Suzuki, successfully completed the Raid Europeo 2022, a 43-day adventure that began on April 27, 2022, in Fiumicino and ended in Strasbourg, the heart of Europe.
The event featured a Suzuki DF200AP Nuova Jolly Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB), which was driven by nine teams composed of Club del Gommone members.
The route included the Tyrrhenian coast, Genoa, Marseille, the Gulf of the Lion, the Canal du Midi, the Canal Lateral de la Garonne, Bordeaux, and the Bay of Biscay, covering a total distance of 2,928 miles.
The adventure aimed to spread the passion for the sea and demonstrate that even with a medium-sized pleasure craft and a standard outboard, one can travel anywhere.
The Club del Gommone, with the support of Suzuki’s technology and the spirit of adventure, successfully completed this challenging journey, drawing on their experiences from their first Raid in 2017 and the more than 13,000 miles they have covered since then.

For my article on how long a Rigid Inflatable Boat lasts, I need your input.
It’s a good way to share knowledge and experiences within the RIB community. I used to do that via Facebook, but that is no longer possible. Besides, it had too many limitations.
In the new way your input is now completely anonymous (versus Facebook). Because of that I don’t store any email addresses nor names.
The poll is for everybody with a Rigid Inflatable Boat and is in English.
