The original Solemar shipyard decided long ago to stop building RIBs. That’s why I haven’t shared much news aside from these updates: Solemar starts over.
“A group of entrepreneurs from Bergamo takes over the historic brand.
The Italian based Solemar brand, a pioneer in the yachting industry with its cabin inflatables boats, has always been one of the main worldwide market leaders in this segment, and the brand is back to make all its enthusiastic dream.
A long-awaited comeback, with major investments behind it, including moulds, projects and a professional team united by their passion for the nautical sector and mostly for the brand itself.
Solemar will reposition itself in a specific market niche, where quality, attention to detail and attention to the owner needs will make the product simply one of a kind.
Two ranges are currently in production: SX is the daily line, with a well-designed layout with optimized spaces for maximum comfort aboard, models that perfectly meet the customer’s needs.
SE line, stands for Solemar Elegance line: boats with cabins ideal for short and medium range cruising, characterised by sophistication and great comfort, to be lived with family and friends.
Comfort, quality and elegance. Solemar’s models are characterised by a well-studied layout with optimised spaces and an efficient performing hull: the perfect combination of elements for those expert owners that want to enjoy the sea with their family in safety and comfort.
The first appointment will be next September 2023: the brand will launch 3 models of the SX line: SX27, SX30 and the Solemar SX34 (see rendering above). They’re between 8.5 m and 11 m.
It will also reveal the upcoming 2024 projects, including a 10 m with 4 berths – that was from the very beginning – the bestseller of the brand.”
