On board the Ranieri International Cayman 19 Sport

Video by the Sea Team

As is often the case, the Sea Team creates very detailed videos. This one is no exception.

That’s why I like them so much.

Ranieri International’s Cayman 19.0 Sport is a 5.95 m RIB with a 2.55 m beam, fully trailerable.

It comes equipped with a 40 HP Suzuki DF40A engine, with a maximum power option of 140 hp.

The stern features two swim platforms, an integrated boarding ladder, and fittings for a bimini or optional stainless-steel roll bar.

Mooring cleats and side handles provide security, while a convertible stern sofa expands into a generous sunbathing area.

A central console of this Ranieri Riigid Inflatable Boat allows safe movement via protected side walkways.

It includes a two-seat helm with a fold-down lumbar support.

Navigation is easy with a Suzuki multifunction display, stereo system, USB ports, and integrated storage compartments throughout.

The bow area is fully cushioned, offering ample space for relaxing and access to a large locker and anchor storage.

Raised tubes provide safety and comfort, making this RIB suitable even for less experienced boaters.

Mirimare Sunrise 9.9S Twin Yamaha F300 – Test

Sunrise 9.9S Fuel Consumption by the Sea Team

Owning a Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) means enjoying performance, stability, and versatility.

However, fuel consumption is crucial to getting the most from every outing (more consumption by RIBs)

Efficient cruising starts with knowing your boat’s sweet spot.

For most RIBs, achieving optimal fuel economy requires maintaining a steady cruising speed as is the case with this Sunrise 9.9S.

This speed is typically between 20–30 knots depending on engine size and hull design.

Trim adjustment is essential. Properly trimmed engines reduce drag, letting the hull glide more efficiently and lowering fuel use.

Many modern outboards feature automatic trim assist—use it or learn to trim manually for best results.

Keep the weight balanced and avoid overloading by limiting passengers to half the maximum allowed (more articles about safety).

Even small changes in load distribution can impact performance and increase consumption.

Clean your hull regularly and service your engines as recommended—dirty hulls and neglected motors work harder and burn more fuel.

By the way, this brand, Mirimare, today ranks 272nd on RIBsONLY.com!

The Italian Built BSC B1 Review by The Sea Team

BSC B1 Put to the Test

The video review of this Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) powered by the Suzuki DF350A captures the essence of performance boating.

Set against the serene backdrop of Lake Maggiore, Italy, the review doesn’t just showcase a boat—it delivers an experience.

What makes this video stand out is its mix of technical precision and genuine enthusiasm.

Carlo, the host, walks us through every detail. He covers displacing at low speeds with minimal fuel consumption.

He also shows us unleashing the full 350-horsepower engine and hitting over 47 knots with ease.

It’s not just a boat speeding across flat water—it’s a demonstration of control, balance, and thoughtful engineering.

The commentary explains how the double propellers improve planing efficiency.

The on-screen readouts make the performance data feel tangible. They also make it feel relevant.

The consumption at 6050 rpm is 112 l/h at a speed of 46,7 knots.

If you would like to see the bigger version of the BSC B1, I’ve got this video for you: Review BSC B-2 Big Sister to B-1.
