Oromarine C-52 Walkthrough: Complete Maxi RIB Tour

This Oromarine C-52 Walkthrough Explores the Full Maxi RIB

The maxi Rigid Inflatable Boat had already featured in an earlier RIBsONLY.com post, where The Sea Team put the Oromarine 52-C to the test.

This time, the focus was on the boat itself. Emanuele Orefice guides us through its deck layout, equipment and various onboard spaces.

The spacious deck featured large relaxation areas, comfortable seating, a practical galley and wide passages that made moving around easy.

Below deck, the C-52 offers two cabins, a separate bathroom and carefully finished living spaces designed for longer stays aboard.

The Oromarine C-52 Walkthrough also shows how Oromarine had used the available space throughout the boat without making the layout feel crowded.

The Oromarine 52-C Put to the Test by The Sea Team

The impressive Oromarine 52-C sleeps 4

The sea trial took place off Nisida in short afternoon chop, with four people aboard and the fuel, water and generator tanks around 80% full.

Power came from three Mercury V10 425 hp outboards, controlled through Mercury’s One Lever system.

The large 80 cm ORCA neoprene tubes helped limit roll, while the hull stayed dry and composed when running directly into the waves. Acceleration of this Oromarine 52-C felt strong, especially through the lower and mid-range.

At 30 knots, adjusting the trim reduced total fuel consumption from 220 to around 200 l/h.

The Oromarine 52-C Rigid Inflatable Boat reached 42.2 knots at 6,100 rpm, then achieved about 44 knots during the acceleration run.

Considering the load and cruising setup, the test showed a good balance between comfort, stability and performance.

Maxi RIBs for Maxi Wallets: the 15+ Meter Range

Maxi RIBs Karel's AI white @ RIBs ONLY - Home of the Rigid Inflatable Boat
My AI vision of a maxi RIB

The Unique Lineup of Maxi RIBs

Are you seeking the ultimate blend of speed, luxury, and sophistication on the water?

Or perhaps you’re just indulging your curiosity or dreaming about it, ‘What if I win the lottery?’

Either way, let me inspire you with this lineup of elite maxi RIBs. All are 50 ft or 15 m and more.

They are engineered for stylish relaxation enthusiasts and or adventurers alike.

Some of these impressive RIBs enter the category of “crossover boats”. A boat between a RIB and a yacht.

It’s no surprise that these maxi RIBs are often used as charter boats.

Certain brands and models go unnoticed. These include Novamarine, Sacs and others. This happens because they do not have the ‘inflatable’ designation in their maxi RIB model. Alternatively, they just fall short of 50 ft.

Let’s go!

Overview to Video Links Below

  1. L’Amphitrite – The christening December 10, 1960, in the port of Monaco with Princess Grace Kelly in attendance for Jacques-Yves Cousteau. It was 19,50 m long and 8,5 m wide.
