Test of the Ranieri International Cayman 19.0 Sport

Cayman 19.0

The Sea Team was off the coast of Soverato, aboard the Ranieri Cayman 19.0 Sport powered by a Suzuki DF40 ARI.

They are testing both the engine and hull performance in ideal weather, with calm seas and a light breeze present.

Because the engine delivers 40 horsepower, it can be operated legally without a boating license. Isn’t that weird …

With two people onboard, tanks are at fifty percent fuel and water, maintaining optimal load conditions.

Test Results

  • At 700 RPM, cruising at 2.5 knots, consuming only 0.5 l/h. Stability is excellent due to the large-diameter tubes.
  • At 2,000 RPM, speed up to 5.3 knots with 2.4 l/h consumption. The high-torque helps boats plane quickly.
  • At 3,200 RPM, they achieve 8.6 knots using 6.1 l/h. Planing begins at 9.4 knots.
  • At 4,400 RPM, cruising at 16 knots using 9.7 l/h.
  • Top speed: 6,200 RPM at 26.1 knots, consuming 19.9 l/h efficiently.

On board the Ranieri International Cayman 19 Sport

Video by the Sea Team

As is often the case, the Sea Team creates very detailed videos. This one is no exception.

That’s why I like them so much.

Ranieri International’s Cayman 19.0 Sport is a 5.95 m RIB with a 2.55 m beam, fully trailerable.

It comes equipped with a 40 HP Suzuki DF40A engine, with a maximum power option of 140 hp.

The stern features two swim platforms, an integrated boarding ladder, and fittings for a bimini or optional stainless-steel roll bar.

Mooring cleats and side handles provide security, while a convertible stern sofa expands into a generous sunbathing area.

A central console of this Ranieri Riigid Inflatable Boat allows safe movement via protected side walkways.

It includes a two-seat helm with a fold-down lumbar support.

Navigation is easy with a Suzuki multifunction display, stereo system, USB ports, and integrated storage compartments throughout.

The bow area is fully cushioned, offering ample space for relaxing and access to a large locker and anchor storage.

Raised tubes provide safety and comfort, making this RIB suitable even for less experienced boaters.
