Protector Boats European Debut from 12th to 15th June 2023

PB Europe are the exclusive European distributor for the globally renowned high performance Protector RIBs. You’ll find them at Berth VA37 during this year’s Seaworks event in Southampton.

There you can visit the 380 Targa, built by the New Zealand based company Rayglass Boats.

The Protector 380 Targa showcases a spacious cabin layout, expansive interior, enclosed standing head.

One standout feature of the 380 Targa is its extensive deck space, offering a generous 9.5′ internal beam and convenient walk-around access to the bow.

With a track record of proven operational excellence in extremely challenging waters worldwide, this watercraft serves as a robust platform for a range of commercial applications.

You see them at work amongst others at the Americas Cup, and SailGP.

Despite its respectable 11.50 meter length, the RIB is dwarfed by these majestic speed sailing yachts.

Latest Ranges of the New WR720

New to market and now available through the GEMINI Dealer network, GEMINI has just unveiled their latest Ranges of their newly launched WR720 model.

With various deck layout options, CEO Gerhard Neethling feels that they have hit the sweet spot for various market applications and customer specific options.

Attached are some of these options. One being the EU Leisure Edition with its classical lines and the other the uncompromising Gemini Stealth Adventure range.

The WR720 hull is based on the legendary Gemini WR880 and is built to the same uncompromising strength and quality standard as its larger sibling.

“With over 40+ years of fanatical focus on component strength and build quality has cemented Gemini Marine’s reputation as a top tier RIB builder. The new WR720 has been extensively tested and assessed over the last two years and we can confidently add it to our existing range”, comments Gemini Marine CEO, Gerhard Neethling.

The WR720 production line in Cape Town is now running at 100% capacity with the first boats being shipped to GEMINI Dealers in Australia, France, Thailand and the USA where they will be launched at perspective international boat shows.

“We feel that the 720 is the perfect size RIB that can cater for various applications and is suitable for numerous engine configurations. Not only have we brought this amazing new Hull to market, but we have designed and tooled up numerous add-ons and options for Leisure, Commercial & Professional applications”, Neethling concludes.

The Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) from Euro Offshore presented in this video is the Blue Spirit 700 FRC, CE B /Solas MED and is approved for maximum 12 persons. It is especially built for yachting purposes.

The abbreviation FRC in “Blue Spirit 700 FRC” stands for Fast Response Craft.

They offer both inboard and outboard engine configurations of RIBs.

Their boats have been developed specifically for markets like yachting, shipping, and offshore.

In this episode of the Coastal Rambling series (checkout parts 1, 2, 3 and 4), the crew sets off from Evenes with a new member, Stig, a seasoned CAD Designer.

They embark on a journey north to Tromsø, excited about the upcoming adventures.

They rendezvous with Valiente, a 70-foot steel sailboat, and join them for a sail and ski expedition along the beautiful coastlines of Lyngen.

They navigate the Goldfish X10 Explorer alongside Valiente, exploring the majestic shoreline and untouched slopes.
