The Rayglass Protector 310 Chase is a 9-meter Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) intended for high-speed coastal and offshore operations.

Its hull design focuses on maintaining stability and predictable handling in varying sea conditions.

The walk-around deck provides unobstructed movement around the central console.

The helm is equipped with two shock-mitigating seats designed to reduce impact at speed.

Optional features include a wet bar with freshwater supply, a toilet compartment, and additional seating.

The RIB is commonly used for diving, fishing, and tender duties.

Rayglass, headquartered in New Zealand, has a long-standing relationship with the America’s Cup supplying chase vessels for nearly 25 years.

Rayglass was founded in 1987 by Tony and Vicky Hembrow in Pakuranga. It is a suburb of Auckland, in northern New Zealand.

In recent years, the Brunswick Group invested in the company to support further expansion.

In October 2024, the company opened a brand-new 7,000 sqm production facility.

PB Europe are the exclusive European distributor for the globally renowned high performance Protector RIBs. You’ll find them at Berth VA37 during this year’s Seaworks event in Southampton.

There you can visit the 380 Targa, built by the New Zealand based company Rayglass Boats.

You see them at work amongst others at the Americas Cup, and SailGP.
