The video showcases a short test ride of the GALA Atlantis A360Q RIB. The video as such shows mainly the boat’s manoeuvrability.

The GALA Atlantis A360Q is a 12-foot (3.6-meter) Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) featuring an aluminum hull and Aquahelm steering console, designed for lightweight agility.

It is powered by a Tohatsu Alaris 6.electrical outboard motor.

This combination is interesting for recreational and practical use like a tender.

This Time a Highfield Patrol 420 Walkthrough

A month ago I’ve publisheda a blog post of Antoine Albeau how he uses this Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB).

This time he provides an detailed overview of the Patrol 420.

My 6 Takeaways

The Patrol has an aluminum hull and is the smallest in the Patrol range.

This boat is equipped with over-engineered tow bars front and back.

At the helm there is a two-seat console with a cushioned backrest. There is room to stow away things you need.

Of course like many RIBs this one has extra-long non-slip deck pads, large handles and ropes for easy beaching a.o.

The deep V aluminum hull has a deadrise of a modest 20°.

It’s a compact RIB, also great to use as a tender.

Theirs is a highly personal business with each RIB open to total custom specification.

Company founder James Whitmarsh has more than 35 years of experience.

He has a deep background in performance boat construction.

He is also experienced in offshore powerboat racing and the superyacht industry.
