Circumnavigation of Scotland 25

A Circumnavigation Adventure

This video features a curated collection of clips from their remarkable trip around of Scotland, completed in May 2025.

The crew of 6 undertook this 7-day 885 NM adventure.

The adventurers used two Redbay 1050 RIBs. One was powered by a single Yanmar 370hp V8, and the other one had twin Suzuki DF350A outboards.

Jump over to the full article of this interesting circumnavigation on Powerboat & RIB.

It follows their earlier journey, “Scotland 23”, a similar yet distinct adventure they undertook across Scotland’s breathtaking coastlines in 2023.

You’ll find a great video of another trip with 56 boats: The Annual Bull Run of 2025 Off the Irish Coast.

The Annual Bull Run of 2025 Off the Irish Coast

Bull Run for Fun

Over the Easter weekend of 2025, the annual Bull Run for Fun took to the Atlantic once again.

There were 56 boats making the journey out to the Bull Rock. Among them, 33 were powered by Suzuki.

It was fantastic to see so many skippers out on the water off the scenic Irish coast.

I’ve read that as always, Redbay Boats turned out in strong numbers, adding to the impressive fleet.

I really like these kind of videos so I posted more of them: Adventure videos.

About Bull Rock

Bull Rock is unique in that a hole traverses all the way through the islet.

Irish mythology claims the rock as “Tech Duinn”, the “house of the dark one”.

It is also called the “House of Donn“. This is where the souls of the dead gather.

The hole became known as the “Entrance of the Underworld”.

The Rock is uninhabited and can not be directly visited but only by boat tours around the Rock (source).
