The UK brand was celebrated worldwide for their high-performance hulls and exceptional craftsmanship, Scorpion RIBs captured boating enthusiasts’ admiration.
This brand was renowned for its engineering excellence. It was admired for its pioneering spirit, outstanding performance, and record-setting achievements.
In early 2024, British based Scorpion RIBs entered administration. This was caused by escalating costs linked to the war in Ukraine and higher interest rates.
The brand was subsequently revived by Twisted Marine, which acquired its assets and intellectual property.
The brand now operates under the name Twisted Scorpion RIBs, and production of high-performance RIBs has already resumed.
The new owners are focused on safeguarding the distinguished legacy of the famous Scorpion RIBs and that’s a very smart move.
