The Ranieri Cayman 41 Sea Trial

The Ranieri International Cayman 41 Top was tested with twin Suzuki DF350 MD outboards, producing 700 hp.

In the video you can se that the conditions were calm, with a developing long swell and light breeze providing stability testing.

With two people aboard, fuel stood at 20 percent and water at 50 percent.

The stepped hull reached planing speed with limited bow rise and remained composed as speed increased. At 4,250 rpm, the boat recorded 32 knots while consuming 124 litres per hour.

Maximum speed reached 44 knots at 6,000 rpm, with combined fuel consumption of 220 litres per hour. The hull stayed dry during turns, wake crossings and higher-speed manoeuvres.

Steer-by-wire controls and counter-rotating propellers contributed to handling, comfort and reduced vibration throughout the test.
