Mercury Avator Expands

Mercury Marine is setting again new standards in electric outboard performance with the Avator 75e and 110e models.

Recently unveiled at CES® 2024 (January, Las Vegas) and scheduled for release in mid-2024, these outboards stand as their most powerful yet.

Designed specifically for aluminum fishing boats, compact pontoons, and small fiberglass runabouts, these models provide boaters with an effective, all-electric propulsion solution.

I’m sure you can use them also on RIBs.

Highfield APAC Dealers Meeting 2023

APAC Stands for Asia-Pacific

Highfield Boats recently hosted its Dealer Meeting at its headquarters in Weihai.

Specializing in the construction of aluminium Rigid Inflatable Boats, the company has a global network.

This event also featured an exclusive behind-the-scenes video, offering a glimpse into the intricacies of their operations.

Shearwater R70 “New” Model by Bembridge Marine

The Shearwater R70 is Fairly New

Let me explain wat I mean by “fairly new”.

After 7 years a RIB video of the new model was published. Shearwater RIBs are a family of designs with clean contemporary styling.

There are no official specs yet except that it’s 7.4 meters. On the Bembridge Marine Meta group I read:

A year from concept, today was the first test of our new model Shearwater R70.
We are awaiting the final stainless work, upholstery and inspection for a cat B rating.
We have seven in build. Many thanks to Guy Whitehouse designs for their help with the project.
