Two RIBs Zodiac 7.5 – Faster than the Ferry

Two fast RIBs Zodiac

Connecting France to England faster than the high-speed vessels of Brittany Ferries.

This was achieved using two 7.50-meter Zodiac RIBs (Rigid Inflatable Boats) powered by 250 horsepower outboards.

They completed the journey in less than three hours, averaging about 40 knots.

The trip went from Ouistreham to Cowes and Cowes to Portsmouth to Ouistreham totalling 225 miles.

Consumption was 360 l for the two RIBs together.
