The boat’s versatility extends to water sports, fishing, and storage options, including a paddleboard rack.

Powered by a Yamaha F300 engine, it reaches impressive speeds, of 50 knots but fuel efficiency varies with the cruising speed.

As an adventure RIB the model could do with a larger fuel tank. Check out more Ballistic RIB videos here.

Salpa Soleil 42 at Cannes Boat Show 2020

The impressive Salpa at Cannes Boat Show

The reason for sharing this video is to highlight the notable feature of the vented hull on the Soleil 42, which commands attention.

It’s crucial to underscore that the hull represents the most significant aspect of any boat.

It’s Adam Younger’s design, a well-know naval architect and member of RIBs ONLY. He has an amazing palmares.

The credit for this goes to the hull developed through a partnership with the esteemed English specialist, Adam Younger. He’ a naval architect and member of RIBs ONLY.

Widely recognised for his expertise in designing racing hulls, Younger crafted a high-performance double-step hull featuring a straight vertical bow.

If you’re interested, I’ve published more videos of Salpa RIBs here on RIBsOnly.com.
