The Irish Skipper Expo is back on 24th and 25th February 2023 at the Ul sport arena in Limerick, Ireland.

Skipper is the leading monthly journal of the Irish and UK fishing industries sinds 1964 and is part of the Donegal based media company Mara Media.

All feedback related to the 2022 event was taken into account, with influences like tides, favorable weather and the pandemic being very prominent.

The tides on the mentioned dates will be perfect for people to attend the event.

There will be the COX Powertrain and Neander diesel outboard engines to talk about.

In the vicinity of UL Sport arena, there are a variety of different hotels including the Castletroy.

Prepare your visit by means of this floor plan.

The SuperRib 27 Open – New and Impressive

An Interesting SuperRib 27 Open

This video presents you a walkthrough of the SuperRib 27 Open RIB, an all new maxi Rigid Inflatable Boat at Düsseldorf 2023. You can active subtitels on this video.

The company offers 3 models at this moment. and the 27 is the smaller version of the Open 30 and Cabin 30.

What is immediately noticeable is that the entire nose is built in fibreglass as is the carbon “Y” supporting the large T-top.

The Croatian based company gives little specifications of this SuperRib 27 Open.

These I found already on their website: length is 8.35 meters, 2.95 meters wide and a weight of 2 tons. The 30 Open weighs about 300 kg more and the 30 Cabin 600 kg.

The maximum power is 450 hp and the manufacturer advices to use a single engine.

The Norwegian design has been diligently incorporated into this new Nordkapp Airborne 7, a completely new series of Rigid Inflatable Boats according to Hans Petter Slang, CEO of Frydenbø Marine.

This Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) Nordkapp Airborne 7 with its fiberglass hull, is designed to ensure a secure cornering.

This creates G-forces that keep you in the boat and enhance your level of comfort.

It boasts tailor-made slim tubes and a (typical green) windshield for added comfort and convenience.

This model is the middle between the Airborne 6.3 and 8.
