Spreading news, creating awareness, awareness which leads to concern and concern which leads to action. We are on a pathway of changes. That is positive right? But how far are we…?
Recycling composites is a topic which grows attention and it is absolutely great news that some big yacht builders and wind turbine manufacturers are jumping on the recyclability aspect for their products in order to be “guilt free”.
So… are these developments “ground breaking”, “greenwashing”, or maybe something in the middle?
The Windsor family established Ocean RIBs in 1991, and since then, the company has manufactured a range of Rigid Inflatable Boats that are both versatile and long-lasting.
Throughout the years, the boat designs have varied and improved, with each vessel undergoing meticulous testing to ensure maximum performance and safety while on the water.

With Gerry Koen now at the helm, the Somerset UK based RIB building company will continue to uphold the tradition of producing top-quality boats, while also infusing a contemporary touch into the designs (see below).
These boats are available in a variety of sizes, ranging from 4.2 meters to 8.5 meters at this moment.
Gerry’s objective is to preserve the company’s legacy as he moves it into the present era.
Presently they only have renderings of their RIBs.

It will also reveal the upcoming 2024 projects, including a 10 m with 4 berths – that was from the very beginning – the bestseller of the brand.”
