Impressive Arksen 8 RIB Detailed Walkthrough

Detailed Showcase of the Arksen 8

Chris Embleton is from Yeoward Boatyards in Sulkcom. He presents the Arksen 8 (Discovery).

It is a true eight-metre adventure RIB with a wide 2.9-metre beam.

The Arksen 8 is designed and built in the UK.

These are my Takeaways

I was genuinely impressed by the level of over engineering on many parts of this Arksen 8 Rigid Inflatable Boat, and I mean that positively.

The bow offers deep seating with strong backrests, ample storage, an electric windlass, and options for sunbeds or tables.

At the helm, twin 12-inch Garmin displays integrate navigation, stereo, and lighting.

Inside the console, owners find a toilet, sink, and additional storage. Amazing for a RIB of this size. Just listen at that door closing.

The sturdy T-top, wet bar, and Yeti cool boxes provide comfort and practicality.

Multiple engine choices up to 450 hp ensure performance for safe, family-friendly coastal adventures.

This Arksen 8 has a lot of potential.

Stunning Arksen Pro Rigid Inflatable Boat

The Purpose-Driven Design of RIBs

Every Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) is designed with a specific purpose in mind (check this article). This characteristic is particularly evident within the professional sector.

It’s precisely to highlight this crucial distinction from the leisure market that I published this post.

On June 5, 2025, Arksen Pro released this promotional video highlighting its high-performance boats (website).

It is a new specialist division dedicated to advanced, mission-ready vessels and technical apparel.

This strategic move aims to serve professional operators across the commercial and defense sectors.

A key feature of these boats is their ability to carry jet skis. The jet skis are shown being deployed and used alongside the boats.
