Ballistic Ribs has gained fame for its sea-going boats built to tackle South African waters.

The XP 80 stands out from traditional Ballistic models with its innovative design.

The RIB features a unique transom arrangement with a swim platform and low-level furniture, expanding deck space for leisure use.

It offers a convertible sun pad, spacious dining area, and a hidden berth for two.

Ballistic XP80 Impresses

All New Ballistic XP80

According to the UK-based Ballistic RIB brand, their new XP80 is a groundbreaking new model .

This 8-metre Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) features a hidden head (toilet) in the centre console, an entertainment area, and a luxurious sun bed at the rear.

The T-top structure is designed to carry some stuff for many activities in the water.

The Ballistic XP80 in this video is powered by a 300 hp Yamaha outboard giving it speeds up to 50 knots.

“We’re thrilled to launch the XP80,” said Ballistic Sales Director, Tom Sanderson.

“This is a truly innovative design that will change the way people think about RIBs. Whether you’re an avid adventurer, a commercial operator, or just looking for a fun and comfortable way to explore the water, the XP80 has something for everyone.”

I always like to know who the designer is behind the RIB. After all, they make it happen for us by creating a great hull to weather many seas and make sure that you have all you need on and below deck.

The 12.5 m Ballistic RIB is an older realization of Ben Rogerson Yacht Design, but still it’s a great sight to see.

This big Ballistic RIB is designed for maximum adventure to explore the coasts and go on quests with friends and family.

This RIB has 2 cabins, 2 seating areas, an aft sun lounging pad and plenty of power with the twin Yamaha 425 XTO outboards.
