Few RIB brands have a “50” or a 15 meter or bigger in their range. Pirelli has it and it’s designed in collaboration with the Mannerfelt Design Team and built by Tecnorib.
It was debuting at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival. This special edition was customized by Mansory, a German company known for transforming expensive luxury vehicles.
Mansory has elevated the original Pirelli 50 with enhanced details, blending sportiness and luxury.
In this video Italian based Pirelli Speedboats presents the X350 and X400 tenders. No action footage (yet) but a detailed walkthrough.
The X line series focuses on optimising layout for increased guest capacity and smoother cruising. They’re powered by the well-known 90 hp BRP Rotax inboard.
As said its unique features include pivoting backrests on additional stern seats, ensuring versatility for various activities.
Customisation options allow personalisation to match individual preferences as it the case with many brands.
I thought it would of interest to you to present the history of this luxorious brand. For starters you’ll find more well-selected Pirelli videos here.
“TecnoRib began life in 2005, with a mission to design, build and distribute a new range of rigid inflatable boats.
For that purpose, TecnoRib entered into a trademark license agreement with Pirelli & C. SpA to apply the most prestigious trademarks of the Pirelli Group on these new inflatable boats.
It wasn’t a simple challenge to elevate a product regarded until then as ‘minor’, in such a way as to reflect the prestige of a brand that is a synonym for quality and safety, as well as for performance and style.
The first product launched, the 770, made its debut at the Pirelli Regattas in Santa Margherita Ligure, in May 2006.
Over the next fifteen years, the range was extended up to the Pirelli 1900, which soon became an icon of style and performance.
In 2015, the range of Jet tenders was introduced to offer the most demanding yacht owners an inflatable boat featuring the same production excellence found in larger projects.
Today, TecnoRib has the mission: to offer demanding-expert owners rigid inflatable boats in the range between 3 to 19 meters, built entirely in Italy and featuring high performance, maximum quality and fine design.”
In 1978, Ocke Mannerfelt founded the Sweden based Mannerfelt Design Team.
Since 2006, his son Ted has taken responsibility for all the designs produced by the successful studio, including the highly acclaimed Pirelli Walkaround Collection.
The collection debuted with the P42 in 2020, followed by the introduction of the P35. Due to an exceptionally high number of requests, the studio responded by introducing the P50.
