Walkaround of the BSC 78 Elegance

The Italian built BSC 78 is a model in their Tourism series.

In this video, they feature it in the Elegance trim, which includes special touches like a leather steering wheel and plush, quilted cushions.

The rear seating area is designed in an asymmetrical U-shape, with the right side extending fully into the space, unlike the left. This section is additionally cushioned to ensure passenger comfort and safety, even at higher speeds.

The helm console is positioned completely to the right, allowing for a wide passageway from the rear to the front of the boat. The tall, wraparound windshield offers excellent protection for the driver and co-pilot.

Italian based factory BSC Colzani started building RIBs in 1990. They offer 4 lines: Gamma B, Turismo, Tender and Open.

In this video the 100 Grant Turismo is shown in action. It is available in 3 versions: Classic, Sport and Elegance.

BSC 85 RIB Test

This video showcases Giovanni Grasso, accompanied by his team, tests the BSC 85, propelled by twin 150-horsepower Honda engines, off Porto Riposto, close to the Etna vulcano.

Sea conditions are flat. There are 3 persons on board during the test and the drone view shows 2 and they switched places. Later there’s only 1 person.

The consumption test holds particular significance for me. During test drives, RPM typically evolves per 500.

A small detail, the anchor locker is open.

As you can see in the test results below, the Honda engines seem to have a interesting fuel efficiency.

Review BSC B-2 Big Sister to B-1

Twin Engine BSC B-2

In this video of the BSC B-2 Rigid Inflatable Boat, that is 9.2-meter long and 3.68-meter wide.

The maximum engine power is a whopping 700 horsepower.

It has two separate platforms at the stern, allowing for independent use of the aft areas.

The cockpit features a C-shaped sofa that can be configured as a sunbathing area or a dinette. The helm area includes comfortable seats, advanced controls, and a high, wrap-around windshield for excellent visibility.

Moving towards the bow, there’s a spacious sunbathing area within the tubular, along with a chaise lounge. Below the cushion, there’s a pass-through for added brightness.

Inside the cabin, there’s a double bed, storage cabinets, and a separate bathroom with privacy.

BSC B-1 Review of This Rigid Inflatable Boat

BSC B-1 Impresses

The video showcases the Rigid Inflatable Boat, the BSC B-1, which is part of the new B series produced by the Italian based BSC shipyard.

The video is in Italian, but you can enable subtitles in your preferred language. Here‘s a brief guide on how to do that.

The RIB is 8 meters long and features two spacious swim platforms integrated into the hull.

Access to the boat is through a corridor on the left side.

The rear area of the BSC B-1 has a large sofa with a table base, which can be removed to create an aft sunbed.

There’s also an outdoor galley with a traditional stove and a refrigerator on wheels.

The seating consists of a two-seater sofa with adjustable backrests, and there are handles on both sides of the console for stability during navigation.

The co-pilot area is on the right side of the boat, and there are instrument panels, a stereo, and on/off buttons for convenience.

The front of the BSC B-1 has a sun lounger that conceals a spacious compartment usable as a changing room.

The sunbed is configured in a triangular shape with storage compartments, and the front section has an inspection compartment for the anchor and windlass.

Overall, the BSC B-1 offers comfort and practicality for navigation and relaxation.
