RIB Adventure in a January Dawn by VISTATREKKER

A VISTATREKKER Story Worth Watching

.I was instantly drawn to Robin’s video style. He’s a fantastic storyteller, and this video proves it once again.

This episode follows a mid-winter dawn run in the Irish Sea aboard two RIBs (see specs below).

Launching from Skerries before sunrise, the crew heads out into the darkness, chasing the first light of day.

They reach Rockabill Lighthouse just as the sun breaks the horizon, casting golden light across the sea.

The journey continues south to Lambay Island.

They they stop for coffee above the wreck of the RMS Tayleur—sometimes called the “first Titanic.”

After circling the island, they push north again through the cold.

They return to Skerries to recover the boats and warm up.

Robin’s RIB is an Nividic 550 Aluminium 3D Tender Rigid Inflatable Boat, fitted with a Suzuki DF100 on a Bunk Trailer*.

His friend used a Lencraft 620 RIB with a Honda 130 on a roller trailer.

His video as published on the VISTATREKKER YouTube channel. Highly recommended!
