A Nearly 2 Hour RIB Tour in Magical Norway

This is not a paid post. The video stood out to me because of its immersive first-person perspective.

It truly feels like being onboard, surrounded by the scenery, with the wind in your face and the sea all around you.

It’s also great to see that everyone is already wearing their life jackets before even stepping onto the pontoon.

That’s how it should be, always. Even when you’re out with family and friends.

FjordEvents was founded in 2006 by Håvard and Atle Gundersen as a family-owned business offering RIB tours.

The company began its journey in Lysefjorden with two ASIS 8.0 Rigid Inflatable Boats powered by 250 hp Suzuki engines.

Today, the company is led by the second generation, Simon Gundersen, the son of Atle Gundersen.

As one of the largest RIB operators in the Nordic region, FjordEvents manages a fleet of nine high-quality RIBs, delivering both safety and excitement on every RIB tour.

Measuring 5,8 meter, this boat remains light enough for simple towing behind most vehicles. Its nimble performance ensures stress-free navigation.

The open-deck configuration allows occupants to circulate without obstruction. High-capacity lockers tucked beneath the benches keep the deck clear of clutter.

Performance and Utility

A 115 hp Yamaha motor drives the craft, making it an ideal choice for high-speed recreation. This G580 can handle up to 150 hp.
