TurboJet 280MX: New Compact Tender for Yachts
Williams Jet Tenders has introduced the TurboJet 280MX, a compact jet-powered tender aimed at yachts from 11 metres upwards.
Measuring 2,79 metres long and 1,54 metres wide, it weighs 230 kg dry and seats up to four people.
Power comes from a 60 hp BRP Rotax ACE 903 petrol engine, driving a jet propulsion system.
Williams lists a maximum speed of 67 km/h (36,18 knots) which is really fast.
The 28-litre fuel tank of this Turbojet 280MX supports short transfers and recreational use.
Standard equipment includes a multifunction display, forward-facing helm seat, automatic fire extinguisher, Hypalon tubes and SeaDek flooring.
A power limiter supports less experienced drivers during initial operation.
