The impressive Oromarine 52-C sleeps 4
The sea trial took place off Nisida in short afternoon chop, with four people aboard and the fuel, water and generator tanks around 80% full.
Power came from three Mercury V10 425 hp outboards, controlled through Mercury’s One Lever system.
The large 80 cm ORCA neoprene tubes helped limit roll, while the hull stayed dry and composed when running directly into the waves. Acceleration of this Oromarine 52-C felt strong, especially through the lower and mid-range.
At 30 knots, adjusting the trim reduced total fuel consumption from 220 to around 200 l/h.
The Oromarine 52-C Rigid Inflatable Boat reached 42.2 knots at 6,100 rpm, then achieved about 44 knots during the acceleration run.
Considering the load and cruising setup, the test showed a good balance between comfort, stability and performance.
