Steko Improvements and Design
In this video from Boat & Fishing Magazine, Stefanos Stefanatos discusses the updated Steko RIB 4.95 in detail.
The bow features a new anchor roller design, ensuring the deck space remains completely unobstructed.
New storage compartments behind the bench and in the console offer more practical space on board.
A fixed water tank behind the fuel tank significantly strengthens the overall chassis of the boat.
This extra rigidity is essential to handle the forces on the deep V-hull at high speeds.
Handling and Performance
The famous hull remains unchanged and is known for its aggressive and seaworthy character.
With a light 15 – 40 hp engine, the RIB reaches planing speeds even with five people on board.
For optimal performance, the manufacturer recommends an engine power between 80 and 90 HP.
Equipped with a 90 hp Suzuki, the boat consumes only 0.6 liters per mile at 30 knots.
The top speed of this model reaches an impressive 42 knots.
Stefanatos Marine is now developing a larger model that must match these same high quality standards.
