The Modest Zodiac Pro Classic 550 RIB

The 550 is an Interesting Length

I mention this beforehand because it’s easy to tow, simple to power, and a practical length for winter storage.

This Zodiac Pro Classic 550, according to the brand, was designed to offer unparalleled safety on board. This is thanks to its non-slip deck and elevated plating.

Its flat surfaces allow the Pro Classic 550 to be fully customizable, adapting seamlessly to any added accessories.

The second reason why I published this short video is that it’s filmed in the “Bay de Quiberon” in Brittany, France.

I know that spot very well and the video starts with the beautiful, restored lighthouse called “La Teignouse”. It’s a monument to many.

Originally launched in the mid-19th century, it was fully automated by the 1980s.

Now listed in the general inventory, the site features a cylindrical tower. It stands nearly twenty meters tall.

A small service building is nearby. This building was once home to the guard responsible for ensuring the safety of passing sailors.

I’ve shared more videos on this brand: Other Leisure Zodiac Models.

This video was published on the Zodiac Nautic YouTube channel.

Great hull, I sold many of them as a Dealer. Served many purposes simply rigged for coaching, utility, diving or pleasure. Affordable. Unfortunately Zodiac doesn’t offer them anymore at least in the US.
