Journalist Nick Burnham joined a Goldfish rally aboard the Goldfish 38 Super Sport, a high-performance vessel renowned for its speed and offshore capability.
Departing with Richard and William from a calm marina, the team set course for Cork on a passage of roughly fifty miles.
Although dark clouds suggested deteriorating weather, conditions remained manageable as the boats moved farther offshore.
Strengthening winds produced scattered whitecaps, providing a useful test of the boat’s abilities.
Cruising comfortably at around forty knots, the Rigid Inflatable Boat covered the distance with ease, demonstrating the rapid passage-making and confident handling for which the brand is known.
