The T-RIB 48 – A New Generation
The first pure model of the Parisi era is the T-Rib 48. All the advantages of a rib: stability, reliability and tightness, but with the space and comfort of a yacht.
A hull developed on a project by the legendary Tom Fexas, who can count on the static and dynamic function of his special tubulars, guaranteeing surprising qualities of transversal stability and excellent performance.
Thanks to two Volvo Penta with 440 horsepower each, the boat is able to reach a maximum speed of 45 knots and sail in total safety at a cruising speed of 35 knots.
Perfectly in tune with the living work, the part that emerges from the large bulwarks, integrated with the imposing tubulars, as well as protecting the entire living area from the sea, culminates in a special semi-rigid roller that allows you to “lean” on any surface without do or suffer damage.
This new hull has an impressive internal volume, similar to that of a superyacht.
With a beam of 4,5 meters, this translates into a volume never seen before in a rib, such as to be able to obtain two spacious and very habitable full-beam cabins and a toilet.
If the interiors, in terms of space, brightness and view, are the most surprising aspect of the T-Rib, no less interesting is the original layout of the deck which, above all thanks to its asymmetrical design, allows you to walk along the entire hull in full safety.
From the aft platform to the bow lounge, passing through the outdoor living area (consisting of a large sundeck and a comfortable “U” -shaped dinette) and the helm station, located in a central position.
Today Tornado Yachts embarks on a new journey, led by CEO Daniele Parisi, shipwright for three generations and founder of the Cantieri Parisi, chosen by the Sonnino Sorisio family (historical family in the nautical world), who defined Parisi as “the man with the right vision to relaunch the new era of Tornado Yachts ”.
