Exclusive review of the new Innovative Electric Jet Propulsion DEEP SPEED.
It is a product developed and built by the Italian company Sealence, which was founded in 2017.
In this video it’s used on a Scanner RIB (those straps on the tubes…).
This particular propulsion system is the equivalent of 1600 hp.
Deep Speed’s baseline “Water is the only footprint you will leave behind” seems to encapsulate a lot about marine propulsion.
It speaks volumes about the technology.
Of course there is the battery problem … It must be possible to create smaller ones with the same or ever more power.
But that will take a long time.
