Driving an Electric RS Pulse 63

At the recent South Coast Boat Show, Motor Boat & Yachting editor Hugo Andreae took a test drive of the RS Pulse 63, the first electric RIB he’s been aboard.

It’s a busy time in the RS Electric Boats workshop at the moment.

These are the first three production Pulse 63 Electric RIBs; with over 50 RIBs expected to roll out of the shed this year, they’re expecting a busy time for their tech team that’s been tirelessly improving on their technology since they first announced that the RIB was in development.

Pulse 63 – RCD Seal of Approval

Pulse by RS Electric Boats

The official RCD/RCR ( CE/UKCA ) Declaration of Conformity for the Pulse 63 Electric RIB has been completed by an independent surveyor through notified body HPiVS.

This means all boats will carry both the European CE & UKCA mark. See more info here.
