Celebrate with me the 8th Anniversary
Today, May 1st 2025, I celebrate a truly special milestone — RIBsONLY.com turns 8 years old!
What an incredible journey it has been since I launched this blog on May 1st, 2017. It rose from the ashes of the older 2008 forum. Some of you still may recall that forum. So in fact RIBs ONLY has been around for 17 years in total.
Maintaining that forum had become too challenging, but from that challenge, a new opportunity was born — and the blog RIBsONLY.com quickly became my new project for all things related to Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs).
At the same time, the Facebook group of the same name also went live.
It experienced its ups and downs over the years.
In 2024, unfortunately the large original Facebook group was hacked, but I quickly launched “RIBs ONLY 2.0” which is steadily growing in popularity.
Notice: If you’re still a member of that first group, please delete your membership. Else you support the hacker.
Fast forward to today: I’m proud to have over 2,290 publications and 267 RIB brands — all under one roof!
I also launched the weekly RIBs ONLY Insider on the 23rd of February 2025.
