While frequently chosen for leisure pursuits by families due to its suitability as a recreational RIB. But it can just as rapidly be commissioned as a heavy-duty work platform with significant operational capacity.
The Gemini WR650 is deployed across the globe for vital assignments. These assignments include border surveillance, customs enforcement, law enforcement activities, and various life-saving rescue operations.
Novi-Marine has demoted two professional equipped Gemini WR880 RIBs. I was onboard a WR780 RIB.
I was asked by novi-marine to document the demo and even give the WR880 a go—an unexpected treat that made the already amazing day of the photoshoot even more memorable and exciting!
This demo reflects novi-marine’s ongoing commitment to fleet modernisation.
It honors the legacy of these reliable workhorses built in South Africa.

A few months back, Gemini Marine were excited to finalize a contract for a fleet of police boats. This followed extensive negotiations and numerous proposals. Gerhard Neethling, owner and CEO at GEMINI MARINE (PTY) Ltd, visited his UNIT 2 facility. He captured this photo highlighting the finished consoles, ready for service.
