It delivers 300 horsepower and 650 Newton metres of torque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Designed and built in Britain, it targets efficiency and high performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Testing showed smooth operation, especially at cruising speed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was compared with a 350 horsepower petrol V8 with similar refinement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The diesel is slightly noisier at idle but improves at speed.
