It also assists in the transport of personnel or equipment in challenging conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Navy uses it for SEAL insertion and extraction, maritime interdiction, and naval boarding operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this video U.S. Marines from the 24th MEU and Sailors aboard USS New York (LPD 21) conducted RIB operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They also trained crane operations during Amphibious Squadron\u2013MEU Integration (PMINT) in the Atlantic Ocean on Dec. 8, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PMINT is the 24th MEU\u2019s first opportunity to fully integrate with the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group.
