This is what I&#8217;ve found:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Art. 39 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2, of Legislative Decree nr. 171\/2005 provides that a boating license for pleasure crafts with a length not exceeding twenty-four meters is mandatory in the following cases, in relation to the navigation actually carried out<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">a) for navigation over six miles from the coast, or in any case on water motors;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">b) for inland navigation or navigation in the maritime waters within six miles from the coast, when on board a motor is installed with a cylinder capacity exceeding 750 cc if two-stroke carbureted, or 1,000 cc if outboard four-stroke carbureted, or at direct injection, or if 1,300 cc if inboard four-stroke carbureted, or 2,000 cc if diesel cycled, however, with a power exceeding 30 KW or <strong>40.8 cv<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whoever takes command of a pleasure craft longer than twenty-four metres, must be in possession of a license for pleasure boating. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.guardiacostiera.gov.it\/en\/Pages\/boating-licence.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">source<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So yes, using these engines can be done without licence in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"853\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/ribsonly.com\/2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Suzuki-DF40A-and-DF40A-ARI-Without-Licence-in-Italy-shot.webp\" alt=\"Suzuki DF40A and DF40A ARI Without Licence in Italy @ RIBs ONLY - Home of the Rigid Inflatable Boat\" class=\"wp-image-24494\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ribsonly.com\/2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Suzuki-DF40A-and-DF40A-ARI-Without-Licence-in-Italy-shot.webp 853w, https:\/\/ribsonly.com\/2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Suzuki-DF40A-and-DF40A-ARI-Without-Licence-in-Italy-shot-150x84.webp 150w, https:\/\/ribsonly.com\/2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Suzuki-DF40A-and-DF40A-ARI-Without-Licence-in-Italy-shot-768x432.webp 768w, https:\/\/ribsonly.com\/2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Suzuki-DF40A-and-DF40A-ARI-Without-Licence-in-Italy-shot-600x338.webp 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 853px) 100vw, 853px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Suzuki DF40A and DF40A ARI without licence<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The video was published on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@SuzukiMarineItaliaFuoribordo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the Suzuki Marine Italia YouTube channel.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Without Licence &#8230; Really?
