Splendid 4th Event Arzon

On June 17, 2023, the picturesque coastal town of Arzon (Brittany, France) came alive with the vibrant celebration of the Zodiac Club Day.

This eagerly anticipated event marked its fourth edition with 100 owners and 35 boats.

These events garnered even more enthusiasm and excitement, as it continued to grow in popularity.

It’s a great region to enjoy your holidays on the water: le Morbihan. Especially the waters nearby Vannes.

Indeed, there is also a commercial version available.

It is not the largest Rigid Inflatable Boat that Sealegs has built. There is also a 12 meter RIB I posted here last year.

There is a choice of the Sealegs system between the 70 and the more powerful 100. There is also an electric version.

Recover a RIB on a Trailer: Some Tips

The video provides instructions on how to recover a boat onto its trailer by Jon Mendez of Motor Boat & Yachting.

It emphasizes the importance of maintaining slow speed and control during the process.

Jon suggests aligning the boat straight on the trailer for easier recovery.

There are two options for driving the boat onto the trailer: driving it all the way onto the hitch or leaving a meter of distance and using a winch for the final bit.

Tide levels and proper positioning in the water are crucial factors.

Jon mentions the significance of clear hand signals and ensuring the trailer is in the water enough.

Brugge Marine Center RIB Trip Amazes Again

During the year, Bruges Marine Centre (BMC) organises RIB trips (Rigid Inflatable Boat).

As every year, there is a cruise on the beautiful river Leie. So was this one in Flanders, Belgium.

Cruises are also organised abroad in fantastic locations.

The Belgian-located company led by Kris Deraedt will hold an open day during the weekend of 17 and 18 June 2023.

It’s always interesting getting to know them and visit their halls with also second hand RIBs.

People come from far to checkout their offerings and the Brugge Marine Center RIB Trip planning.

PRIME NINE41 From Dartmouth to Salcombe

RIB Run in a Ribeye PRIME NINE41

The skipper is leaving Dartmouth for Silcom, expecting a good trip with favorable sea conditions.

Fuel consumption of the British built Ribeye was around 64 liters per hour for both Yamahas.

After passing Start Point and Gammon Head, he has arrived in Silcom after a 39-minute journey.
