Highfield TV – Ep.15 – The All new Adventure Hardtop Patrol 760 RIB

Today, Steve Harrison of Highfield is giving you a first look at the impressive “adventure hardtop” which has been designed specifically for those looking for adventure in their life.

Hardtop Specs

It has, among other things, rollable canvas with windows, a sliding roof, a ladder, radar and windscreen wipers. It sits on the all season hull of the Honda powered Patrol 760 RIB.

A roof rack gives you the opportunity to take a surfboard or camping equipment with you, for example.

Above all, this construction also has heating on board. So, this combination prolongs your boat season for sure.

DEEP SPEED by SEALENCE – Electric Jet Boat Propulsion

Exclusive review of the new Innovative Electric Jet Propulsion DEEP SPEED, a product developed and built by the in 2017 founded Italian company Sealence. Here it’s used on a Scanner RIB. So it has its place here.

This particular propulsion system is the equivalent of 1600 hp.

Deep Speed’s baseline “Water is the only footprint you will leave behind” seems to say it all when it comes to marine propulsion. Of course there are the batteries … It must be possible to shrink them with even more power or replace them with a hydrogen system. But that will take a very long time.

BPC stands for “Belgian Pneumatic Club” and is a very active group of RIB passionates with a family character

Their Facebook group is managed by Gilles Van Haelst and Olivier Humbeeck.

Each year, the Club draws up a calendar of outings designed to meet everyone’s expectations: sea or inland waterways, day trips or several days, in Belgium or abroad.

Flanders Offshore Racing Team – Their New Technohull Seadrug 688

Flanders Offshore Racing Team will be racing in the Technohull Seadrug 688. It is one of the fastest RIBs in its class. Technohull is known for their leading innovation in the luxury boat industry.

With the 688 they made one of the most agile boats that exist. However this 688 is one of 2 race boats they have ever made. This one specifically was specially built for the 24 hours of Sint-Petersburg.

This is also the only boat that was made with epoxy instead of polyester, hand crafted deck. What this means is that this is a one of build raceboat.
