Highfield TV – Ep.16 – Coding the Patrol 660 RIB

In this episode you’ll get an idea of the MCA 3R Coding process on a Patrol 660 RIB. MCA stands for Maritime Coastguard Agency.

Why coding your RIB in the UK?

  • To operate a boat for skippered or bareboat use usually for commercial gain.
  • To take people afloat who pay more than a reasonable contribution towards the trip.
  • To operate a workboat.

An impressive RIB

Current freediving world record holder Stephane Mifsud has held his breath under water for an incredible 11 minutes 35 seconds.

A highly experienced diver, Stephane, shares his passion and skills through his Odyssée Bleue Freediving School based in Hyères, France where a wide range of courses are offered at all levels.

Stefane’s students enjoy the smooth ride to the nearby deep water dive areas in a Highfield Boats Patrol 860 (will it sink?), recognised for its pedigree as a hardcore workboat while offering high manoeuvrability, safety and a soft dry ride – even in the roughest conditions.

Highfield TV – Ep.15 – The All new Adventure Hardtop Patrol 760 RIB

Today, Steve Harrison of Highfield is giving you a first look at the impressive “adventure hardtop” which has been designed specifically for those looking for adventure in their life.

Hardtop Specs

It has, among other things, rollable canvas with windows, a sliding roof, a ladder, radar and windscreen wipers. It sits on the all season hull of the Honda powered Patrol 760 RIB.

A roof rack gives you the opportunity to take a surfboard or camping equipment with you, for example.

Above all, this construction also has heating on board. So, this combination prolongs your boat season for sure.
