Performance

The Highfield Sport 900 delivers serious punch with twin 300-horsepower V8s, achieving speeds up to 56 knots. A single 300 provides sufficient performance while reducing fuel use. Its 26° dead rise hull ensures confident handling in chop, making the ride stable, dry, and comfortable at speed.

Design

Built with an aluminum hull and Hypalon tubes, the Highfield Sport 900 is tough, lightweight, and ready for rugged conditions. A recessed bow anchor avoids docking obstructions, while the synthetic teak flooring improves grip and comfort. Four lifting points allow crane handling, ideal for seasonal storage or tender operations.

Big Highfield Sport 900 Test Drive

A Wild Test Drive with a Highfield Sport 900

The Highfield Sport 900 combines rugged practicality with luxury performance, designed for adventurous boaters who demand versatility and reliability.

Weighing 1,780 kg, it carries twin 300-horsepower Mercury V8s and 380 liters of fuel, offering serious offshore capability.

Its 26° deadrise hull delivered a cushioned ride through confused seas, remaining stable where lesser ribs would struggle.

In calm water, cruising at 20 knots consumed just 30 liters per hour, proving the boat’s fuel efficiency.

Top speed reached 55 knots, though 53 knots is recommended for comfort and safe handling.

Mercury joystick control provided precise maneuvering, with responsive 360° spins, side-slips, and GPS-assisted Skyhook station holding.

The aluminum hull and tubes enhance durability, beaching capability, and practicality for water sports.

This video is designed for procurement professionals, police departments exploring new vessel contracts, and enthusiasts of commercial patrol craft. This time it’s testing by the police force.

But it might be of interest to you to see what these Highfield boats are capable of.

It documents an official evaluation of two patrol vessels by the police force.

You gain a behind-the-scenes look at how patrol boats are assessed for the police force, with emphasis on contract suitability.

The footage clearly demonstrates boat handling characteristics. It shows the onboard systems and overall performance. This offers an authentic view of operational capability.

The Patrol 660 is equipped with twin Suzuki 115 hp outboard engines.

Steve Harrison, Global Product Manager at Highfield Boats., ‘takes us along a very detailed walkaround.

“Positioned at the core of the Sport line, the Highfield Sport 560 blends versatility with passenger comfort. Designed with both families and explorers in mind, it emphasizes safety on the water.

Highlights include a detachable sunbed, a well-designed helm console, sturdy grab rails, an easy-access boarding ladder, and extensive built-in storage.

Standard fittings on this Highfield Sport 560 include electronics and EVA decking.

They also have bathing platforms, a roll bar, and courtesy lights. This ensures clear, all-inclusive pricing.

Optimally paired with a 100-horsepower engine, the Highfield Sport 560 delivers a smooth balance of speed, fuel efficiency, and comfort.”

Penn Crouch Open 2025: Highfield Boats Team Debut

Highfield Boats Fishing Team

The video is all about about enjoying the experience and connecting with the fishing community.

It all started in the Essex Marina on 29th of June 2025.

The scene is set for the Penn Crouch Fishing Competition. This is an open event drawing boat anglers from across the country.

Approximately 80 to 100 boats took part in the competition. Well over 200 anglers were involved in this event so the competition promised to be a lively and exciting affair.

On board the Highfield boats several well-known anglers from around the UK — many of whom run their own channels or have appeared on television.

They are the Amputee Angler (Ben Stoten), The Fish Locker (John Locker), Ben Francis, Kevin Mardell and Robbie Northman

Tom Bettle, representing Highfield Boats, extended a warm welcome and thanked everyone for joining the Penn Crouch Open at Essex Marina.
